Summary: Our second time staying here & we will be back again and again.. The cleanliness of the rooms and halls is impeccable!!! Our room was freshly shampooed the day before we arrived. The staff is the friendliest around. Great gateway to The Sandhills!!!

Summary: This was my first visit to this property. It was the only decent looking hotel in Atkinson. I asked about getting my triple AAA discount upon check-in and was promptly scolded for booking through a third-party agency with that being the reason they would not adjust my rate. They told me I could’ve saved money if I booked directly. I love to bundle my travels on Orbitz so I can track them and am disappointed with properties treat me poorly because they have to pay a commission. The room was extremely clean, even though this is nowhere near a new property. The room they put me in, felt like it had been refreshed and it presented very well. There was an overall mildew smell in the property that many places seem to have when they have been around for decades, but it was not overpowering. The breakfast was disappointing. A true continental experience. The only offerings were various breads to toast or a cold cereal. The peanut butter that I scraped out of a small package, had separated to oil and dried product for the only game in town. When I checked out, the person that came up to help me appeared to be a housekeeper. She struggled with the computer for several minutes and was unable to print a receipt and apologized for not knowing the system very well. I would stay at this property again, simply because the price was reasonable, and it was extremely clean.
